Hi! I am Bethany

I grew up in Chicago-land and earned a degree in Advertising Design with photography studies from the Colorado Institute of Art. I love the outdoors so I made my way North with a stop in Minneapolis then making Duluth my forever home. I am obsessed with everything photography so much so I can be spotted with my camera just about everywhere I go. I am also always studying and learning how to be a better photographer whether it's scouting locations, researching posing trends or how to edit more efficiently. I bring my many years of experience to every session but approach it with fresh eyes so I am not producing cookie cutter work. I also feel it is important to learn about and get to know every client I work for, so they walk away with photos that truly reflect who they are. Whether it's chatting with the athletes on the side lines, listening to a couple's wedding day vision or a senior's plan for after graduation. Making a connection with those I work with is so very important.
This year I was one of Grandma's Marathon photographers and it was a really amazing experience.
What I do in my spare time...I recently created an Instagram and Facebook account called Lake Superior Style. I post photos I take traveling around the Lake Superior area such as going to BayField Apple Fest, camping, hiking and street photography. My style is to learn about you then capture your style and to customize my approach in order to do so.Warmly,
